Information we collect

You can use the calculators and the assessment on this site without providing contact information.

If you choose to request help, you may be asked for your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender, and general location such as ZIP code and state. Date of birth and gender are asked because insurance carriers price cover using age and sex; both are optional.

We also store:

• The answers you give to the calculators and the assessment, which are used to produce your results.
• A record of the consent you gave — the exact wording shown to you, the date and time, the page you were on, and the network address the submission came from. This is kept so we can show what you agreed to.
• Basic, non-identifying usage information about which pages and tools are used.

Information we do not collect

This site does not ask for Social Security numbers, banking details, or policy numbers, and it does not ask for detailed medical history. Please do not send any of these through forms on this site.

How we use it

To produce your results, to respond to your request, and to connect you with a licensed insurance agent if you have asked us to.

Sharing

If you submit a request for help, your details and the answers behind your results may be shared with the licensed insurance agent who follows up, so they understand why you got in touch, and with insurance carriers where needed to provide quotes and coverage options.

We do not sell your information to unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to insurance.

Consent and marketing

Consent to be contacted is requested separately from any optional consent to receive marketing email or text messages, and consent boxes are never pre-checked.

Opting out

You may withdraw your consent at any time by any reasonable means — including telling us by phone, replying STOP to a text message, or using the unsubscribe link in an email. We record the request and stop contacting you.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Retention and access

Information submitted through this site is retained so we can respond to your request and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. To ask what has been stored about you, or to request deletion, use the contact page.
